The average mind does not utilize its power due to thinking different things one after the other – we are conditioned to being distracted and to over analyzing in todays society …
Whatever we do with awareness is a form of meditation. Watching our breath, listening to birdsong, going for a walk and even doing our work on a daily basis can all become the most beautiful meditations if we remain focused and free from distraction!
It is vital to set time aside each day to develop the skills of focused attention to counteract the demands of our busy and often complex lives.
